Micanopy (/ˌmɪkəˈnoʊpi/ MIK-ə-NOH-pee) is a town in Alachua County, Florida, United States, located south of Gainesville. The population as of the 2010 census was 600.[5] The town center is designated as a historic district, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
